Growing up, both my parents owned their own successful businesses. So I knew before I even graduated high school that I would follow in their footsteps as an entrepreneur.

My journey in the special events industry began over 20 years ago with one of Canada’s largest and most awarded event design and decor companies. I made a few pit stops — including a marketing diploma — before I launched KJ & Co. in 2012. As a wedding planner, I made the jump to full-time in less than a year. Since then, KJ & Co. has planned weddings features in Style Me Pretty, Today’s Bride, WedLuxe, and more.

I love that the wedding industry allows me to tap into my creative side on a daily basis, but I’m truly excited about the industry as a whole, and business ownership. Consulting and coaching other wedding pros to launch and grow their businesses is something I’m very passionate about.
